The arrow button is the manual start button. Pressing the manual start button will force the session to start if you have GPS. This will also reset the current trip's address and mileage. This is useful if you are making trips or stops that are unnecessary and if you want to change the beginning address for that particular trip.
The circle button is the manual stop button. Pressing the manual stop button will force the session to end if you have GPS. This is useful if you are making trips or stops that are shorter then 3-5 minutes and you want to log that particular trip without waiting.

+ button is volume up. This will increase the volume of all sounds made by the Mileage Logger, including the chirping sounds, button tones, and voice calls.
- button is volume down. This will decrease the volume of all sounds made by the Mileage Logger, including the chirping sounds, button tones, and voice calls.
The oval button is the emergency panic button. This allows you to send a text message to two phone numbers and emails during an emergency when pressed.

"On" Light - indicates that your Mileage Logger is connected or disconnected to the power or running on battery.
"GPS" Light - indicates if your Mileage Logger has GPS sync and you are ready to log miles.
"BAT" Light- indicates that the Mileage Logger battery is being charged or is low on battery.
